GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Where Quality Points = Grade Points × Credit Hours for each course
UNL Academic Standards
- Good Academic Standing: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Dean's List: Semester GPA of 3.5 or higher with at least 12 credit hours
- Chancellor's Scholar: Semester GPA of 3.75 or higher with at least 12 credit hours
- Academic Probation: Cumulative GPA below 2.0
- Academic Suspension: Failure to raise GPA above 2.0 after probation
